THE NEED
In Denmark, 47% of abnormal cervical findings are missed in primary care, leading to delayed diagnoses and poorer outcomes. Additionally, over-referrals and unnecessary biopsies burden both patients and the healthcare system. The growing reliance on nurses and midwives for gynecological exams, coupled with limited formal training, creates a gap in diagnostic accuracy and efficiency
THE SOLUTION
GynLoop combines advanced imaging technology, real-time or asynchronous input from specialists, and AI-driven guidance for biopsies. The platform also offers structured eLearning modules and clinical decision support, equipping both primary care providers and specialists to improve diagnostic accuracy, reduce unnecessary procedures, and increase early detection rates of cervical cancer.

PROJECT SUMMARY
GynLoop is an integrated software and hardware platform designed to improve cervical examinations and colposcopies by providing structured training, asynchronous specialist guidance, and AI-assisted diagnostics. It helps clinicians improve referrals, avoid unnecessary biopsies, and detect cervical cancer earlier.
CLINICAL IMPACT
By improving diagnostic precision and reducing both false negatives and unnecessary referrals, GynLoop enhances early cancer detection and treatment outcomes. Patients benefit from fewer invasive procedures, reduced anxiety, and better quality of care, while healthcare systems gain cost savings and improved efficiency across primary and specialist care.
